Ibadah b4 Qiyadah....

Salam w.b.t....

Baru tergerak hati nak update blog....Itu pun hanya meng'copy' paste dari email.... Hopefully, this can help to turn us into a better muslim, if not perfect....

Setelah mendengar cerita saya, dia bertanya, apakah nama persatuan kamu?

'Sharing is caring'

I'm home....

Assalamualaikum w.b.t....

I'm home at last... This time only for 5 days, huhu~ Should be for a week but since there SHOULD be MPS on this coming friday, I've to go back early. Now, the dinner had been cancelled (much to my annoyance. Well, looking at the bright side, now I've the chance to concentrate on my study for the whole weekend (hopefully~) - FYI, midterm exam next week.

Btw, last weekend was a joyful one for my whole family. Alhamdulillah, the highest praise is to Allah. Naim did it again by keeping the flag of my family & Islam especially high. He managed to grab the 2nd prize in the RHB NST Spell-it-right challenge, held in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil. Since all the pics & vids are still in the videocam & cam, will tell you guys about it in my next post (insya Allah). For now, here's the link to the news (for verification, hoho):

Last but not least, hope to enjoy my days at home maximally

Dino, Cosmo and.........Siamang???

Salam w.b.t....

Well, after LEADeRs, the rest of the week was.... Jalan2 Pusing KL...

First stop... A glimpse to the past... about nearly 300000 years prior...

Well, it wasn't just a glimpse actually, more like a 'touch, feel and experience the sensation'.
To make this sounds more real, we actually went to Petrosains in KLCC, after 2 hours of hectic driving on the roads of Kuala Lumpur... Seriously, spending more than half an hour in the backseats of Estima was totally challenging and nerve-breaking (If you happen to have one of those, you'll know)...

To make a long story short, we arrived safe and sound, though we perspired quite profusely (ignore that!) Then, we made it straight to Petrosains. A slight twist was waiting for us there. We had to choose whether we would like to have a short, 'less activities' adventure in Dinotrek 2 or a lengthy, repeated trip in the u
sual Petrosains. As a normal person should do, I chose the former, though those kiddos seemed to have hard times thinking. After several persuasions, we agreed on the DinoTrek 2. I was getting more excited as I always had a great fond on the dinos (can't figure out why, but they seem so cute, especially the velociraptors...)

Daddy decided not to tag along during the last few minutes. Me and Tmah were already preparing to do our usual custom, making sad, fe
eble faces (as shown by Puss in Shrek series) as an attempt to appeal for his participation. Well, a family isn't a family without a dad, right? But after seeing his mountaining paperworks, we realised that he needed these precious times for his works... That's just fine.

Puss in the boot...

So, we just entered the time portal (gimmick only) which led to the unlikely past, the Triassic period. I was already on top of the world, seeing those cute dinos. The first thing we saw was the questionnaire (three questions will be given about dinos and the kids will have to jump on the correct platform for answers). It was fun, seeing those kiddos jumping here and there, only to get them all wrong (As usual, Firdaus was over-reacting... God, I had always adored his enthusiasm!)

There were tons of dinosaurs on display... triceratops, stegosaurus, apatosaurus, maiasaurus, two velociraptors fighting off a protoceratops for the eggs and the best part... The battle for the best (Spinosaurus VS T-Rex).

They stated that there is no possible way to determine which is stronger, since both dinos (Spinosaurus and T-Rex) lived in two different regions and different continents. Well, I found this information pretty useful since I spent the last few years tricked into believing that Spinosaurus is always stronger than T-Rex... Gratitude to Jurassic Park 3.

T-rex vs Spinosaurus (Again, Idaus was over-acting)

Jahid posing...

Nk sentuh gak....

Berlagakla tu...Konon2 PALIENTOLOGIST!!

Witnessing and touching the artificial dino-bots was one thing, but experiencing the games was surely another wonderful thing. Visitors will be served with tons of activities specially about dinosaurs... very informative. Oh, I loved the fossil mining one.... Oh, and we made a great bunch of snapshots too... Conclusion : This trip was amazing, surely a great way to tighten the bonds of the family.... And, it told a lot 'bout dinosaurs... you'll regret not going to this place (the entry fee is just RM3 for child and RM6 for adults)...

Yg nilah, Solah!!

Mari kite godek2...

Aaaaaa....

Si PEncuri DinO punye Telur, PEDOT!!

P/S : (I'm not one of those silly event promoters, just being a caring citizen...)

Well, there went the first half of the day & we'd already worn out our shoes. Now, it's Tambi's (my other brother's nickname, *evil laugh*) turn to be the Puss. And, unlike us since he's our LITTLE bro, he succeeded to persuade Ayah to make another stop at BTS (Berjaya Times Square) for Cosmo World. Although it was already late + the entry fees during holiday were shooting up, thanks to Solah & Mujahid (and not forgetting Ayah & Ummi for the fees, of course, hehe), we were on top of the planet (which means extremely happy :) ) , riding all the 'fun machines' available (at least for the adult rides) + merry go round (from the kids rides. We used to take the kids rides also, well at least the ones which accept our heights).

Unfortunately, we'd not much time to enjoy ourselves fully. By Maghrib, we're heading to Shah Alam to regenerate our energy.

On Saturday morning, it's time to explore the kingdom of Animalia, Zoo Negara. Well, don't know what to say. Well, there's a saying 'A picture worths a thousand words'. So, enjoy the pics....

Pas masuk,hehe...

1st stop - Animal's show
(Everyday - 11 a.m & 2.30 p.m) Promote~

Menunggu dgn sabar...

The end of the trip

Ayah t'senyum gumbira

FYI, Siamang is actually a primate (adik-beradik mawas, chimpanzee, monyet & sewaktu dengannye). What really caught our interest was the description about it saying that a siamang will sing 4 peace (Menyanyi utk Ketenangan) in duet. HAHAHA (We gelak guling2). Sorry, no pics but you can google it (Our cameraman Shera lupe amek sbb gelak kot!!)

After a few days, visiting my aunts & uncles' house all around KL (well, a few of them) and attending my family's USRAH (once a month) along the way, we headed back for KB to spend the rest of my hols in my lovely hometown (there's no place like home).

~THE END~
(Pweh, at last ;p)

LEADeRs Gen 4 '09'

Salam w.b.t....

Last week was a long one for me, having to spend my whole time in KL. My schedule was packed, starting with LEADeRs on 2nd(Mon)-4th of June at Sekolah Islam Adni, Tmn Sri Ukay, just a stone's throw from Bukit Antarabangsa (ring a bell?? The one with the landslides incident).

LEADeRs?? Gapo dio tuh?? It stands for Latihan Ekstensif Asas Dakwah & KepimpinanRemaja Musleh. Well, actually it is the sequel of XRek, set up by KRJ (Kelab Remaja JIM) in one of their project, PRODUCE (Projek Dua Tahun Remaja Cemerlang). This project consists of a series of 6 programs altogether:

XRek - For 3rd formers (after PMR)
LEADeRs - 4th formers (1st sem break)
X-Pert - 4th formers (final sem break)
X-Cell - 5th formers (1st sem break)
MHI (Madrasatul Hayah) - After SPM
EMI - Before registering to matrix or sewktu dengannya

Generally, KRJ, by planning PRODUCE, is making their best efforts in producing teens that will become the 'movers' (penggerak) in dakwah & tarbiyyah by the time they become 'mahasiswa/wi (like me).

PRODUCE had produced 3 gens so far and is on the way in completing the 4th one. My sis, Tmah & I were actually the products of 1st gen (I'm actually shouldn't be considered as 1st gen since I'm out of the age. But, during X-Rek 05 (the 1st ever XRek), there's some misunderstadings (huge one, believe me). So, here I am. The 2nd gen (SPM 08) didn't go so well (I didn't even know who are the 2nd gen). Naim is in the 3rd gen (he's the 'amir'). And the last LEADeRs was for the 4th gen.

PRODUCE Gen-1 with our murabbi, Abg Wan Am + Itqan
From left: Me, Maryam, Hajar, Tmah, Itqan, Abg Wan Am, Hasif, Saiful Islam

Tmah, me & a few of our dear friends from Gen 1 had been called by our great murabbi, Abg Wan Am to be facilitators for the prog. It had been a while since I joined any prog, hibernating myself in my cosy home for the 1st month of hols, so I was quite nervous. Frankly, there were not much for us to do since it was more to indoor activities & there're other facis from team KL. But, it was fun & comforting to see my lil sisters & brothers, full of enthusiasm. I'm sure they'll become the priceless gems, pearls & diamonds, waiting for the right time to show to the world their true value in dakwah & tarbiyyah (wah, I'm getting better in this sastera thingy, ;p), insya Allah.

With 2 juniors from Kelantan Amirah & Maisarah

There were a lot of interesting & challenging activities too. Like the 1st day, each group had to set up a booth about Palestines in just 3 hours. And the leaders were responsible to organise 'majlis perasmian' for Program Bebaskan Al-Aqsa. With a lack of time & materials, I think they'd all thrown an absolutely marvellous event that night. The following days were filled with great indoor games + a trekking in Sungai Semungkis, Ulu Langat. There were also a few talks about goal settings & our rights as the citizens of Malaysia.

Main air kat Sg Semangkis
(Me, Maryam, Hajar, K.Nina - Tmah malas nk basah, hehe)

The best thing was that Allah had given us a chance to meet our ex-naqibah (but still murabbiyah), K.Arasy, who happened to be Abg Wan Am's wife with their 3 cute, 'active' daughters, Itqan, Ijlal & Imtiyaz. She conducted my usrah (outside school) when I was in form 2. Then, sadly she had to leave us for KL after she got married (that happened to a lot of my naqibahs after her, huhu). She was still the same K.Arasy from a few years back (except ade ciri2 keibuan sket. Dulu, ke'kakak'an je, hehe).

With K.Arasy & her three little girls- Ijlal (me), Itqan (tmah), Imtiaz (K.Arasy)
(Aren't we all cute, hak3)

After the program, we went back straight to Wak Intan's house in Batu Caves. We slept for 3 hours straight while waiting for K.Yuyui (our cousin) to come back from Zoo Negara (FYI, she works there, catering for tapir, ular, siamang etc as part of her practical) before heading to Sushi King in Ampang for dinner.

That's all folks!!

Coming up next... Dino, Cosmo and..... Siamang??

Hatifun Jadid...

Some times ago @ Klinik Perdana Cwgn Islah...

D daughter : Ummi, bleh x nk beli henset baru??

Ummi : Boleh. Beli yg 100 ringgit je cukup...

D daughter : (Rolling eyes) Ala, ummi, alang2 dah beli tu, baik beli yang mahal sikit. I'll use my biasiswa, ok?? (With a broad smile & twinkling eyes)

Ummi shook her head in disbelief.

A few days later, d daughter was smiling even broader when K660i finally was in her grasp. While busy discovering her new handphone with her younger sister, Ummi turned on the CD player to listen to Tok Guru's talks..

Tok Guru : Kito nih kalau nok bersyukur, kene guno segala nikmat Allah di jalannyo.. Kalu nikmat hok Allah beghi tuh tok digunokan untuk jalan Allah, kiro tok bersyukur la tuh... (Telah dimodify mengikut kefahaman penulis ^_^)

D daughter stopped. Her mind was racing and wondering.

D daughter : (Monolog dalaman) Am I going to use this hp fi sabilillah?? Will it be a hoe or a rake or fertilizers to help me in sowing good seeds in dunya so that I can pluck good fruits also in akhirat?? Or will it be the one which will bring to me to my doom?? Nauzubillah, may Allah protect me from the latter...

Dan (ingatlah juga), tatkala Tuhanmu memaklumkan; “Sesungguhnya jika kamu bersyukur, pasti Kami akan menambah (ni’mat) kepadamu, dan jika kamu mengingkari (ni’mat-Ku), maka sesungguhnya azab-Ku sangat pedih”

(Ibrahim 14:7)

Dan barangsiapa yang bersyukur maka sesungguhnya dia bersyukur untuk (kebaikan) dirinya sendiri dan barangsiapa yang ingkar, maka sesungguhnya Tuhanku Maha Kaya lagi Maha Mulia”.

(An-Naml 27:40)

My HP M.I.A...again!!!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t...

I am sadly to announce that my handphone was M.I.A (missing in action!!), again (yes, 2nd time in one year. Wonder what's going on with me)

I think I lost it last Thursday night. I didnt realise this, not until the next day. Well, I really thought I'd left my hp in the car so I didnt bother to search for it. When I tried to find it inside the car, it's not there. And when we tried to call it, it reached the voice message. No battery?? Not possible since I'd charged it fully on Friday afternoon. Could it possible that I'd dropped it??

Recalling it back, last Thursday night my sis, Tmah, and I went out to send Ummi to her meeting. After that,we picked up Ni'am from his Arabic class and sent him to SMI Aman in Binjai since the 1st & 2nd formers had qiam (FYI,he's the 1st formers' naqib. In order to be a good naqib, it is essential to join their qiam. So, Naim is a good naqib, hehe). Well, I was positive that I still had my hp with me. Then we went to Mak Cik Joy's house to pick up Ummi. Went out of car to greet her. We went home safe and sound. Couldnt remember hearing any thud sound along the way. But, it's gone. Couldn't find anywhere. We also tried to search for it at Mak Cik Joy's house. No trace of it!!

The only relevant conclusion that we can make is that I dropped it at Mak Cik Joy's house and somebody had found it and didnt bother to return it back to its rightful owner. Oh, and I'd dropped it on grass (that explained the no-thud sound).

Well, I guess the phone is no longer my 'rezeki'. Maybe this is a kafarah from Allah for any bad deeds that I'd committed (May Allah forgive me for those deeds). Setiap perkara yg terjadi ade hikmahnya. For now, hikmah yang dapat dilihat & dikenalpasti adalah peluang untuk mendapat handphone baru,hehehe...(Nampaknya, scholarship yg baru msk ini akan dirasmikan dengan membeli handphone baru, ahakz) Apa pun, innalillahi wa inna iilaihi rajiun....Kepada Allahlah kite semua akan dikembalikan!!

Ni'am won it~

Salam w.b.t...

Semua orang nampaknya menulis pasal ini. Since I'm one of the persons behind the scene, so mane boleh ketinggalan.

What am I talking about? Well, of course about S.I.R (RHB NST Spell-It-Right) competition held in KB Mall last Saturday (16 May). My brother, Na'im a.k.a Ni'am (I gave all my lil brothers nicknames. Since 'Na'im' is already a short one, Ni'am is the best name with a meaning I can give ;p) from SM Islam Aman won the competition, the highest gratitude to Allah. So he will be representing our beloved state of Kelantan for the national level in KL on 8 August, insya Allah!!(Not going to miss it,insya Allah)

His story was published in NST the next day. I got a message that morning from Mlmh Sakinah (Selamat Hari Murabbi to her). She asked her husband to buy NST first thing in the morning. She gave me a shocking news, telling me that they didn't mention our school name (which is truly, truly very important). They stated everything about him except from which school. Well, that's impossible!! How could that happen?

Suprisingly, when I read our copy of NST, it clearly stated that Naim is from SM Islam Aman. Confusing, huh. When I checked back with her, there are a few paragraphs missing from her copy including the one mentioning or school's name. Could it possibly be that Kelantan's copy and KL's copy (FYI, Mlmh Sakinah is currently living in KL) are different? Even in NST's website didn't mention our school's name. I don't know what happen but it's truly unfair for our school (we ARE true Amanians).Well, maybe NST had mistakenly missed this (husnuzzon, hehe).Alhamdulillah, they told a lot about Ayah and Ummi. They really, truly deserve it. Without their support and prayers, Ni'am won't be where he is now.

Whatever happened, insya Allah I'll force Naim to struggle hard for the national level so that when he win (hopefully!! Please pray for Naim), NST has no reason to miss our school's name. Btw, here's the link to the news:

That's all for now. Let's pray for Ni'am's victory on 8th August, insya Allah!! Ma'assalamah wa ilal liqa'. A-D-I-O-S!!

P/S: Naim won a cash prize RM2000. He promised to treat us something. Can't wait for it. (Ambik kesempatan, hehe)
